"Every time the baseless allegations they (bloggers) are not used to examine whether the allegation is true or not that made them. This is not good for the blogger.
"I mean, I even bloggers as well, but if people do not believe the bloggers, not Gunalah become bloggers," said former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, at a press conference after the International Conference on Muslim Tourism, Hajj and Umrah (InCoMTHU 2011), yesterday.
He was commenting on a newspaper report yesterday on the recognition of the operator's website Malaysia Today, Raja Petra Kamarudin statutory declaration that discloses other mastermind denies ever claiming the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak and his wife, Datin Seri Rosmah involved in the murder of Altantuya Shaariibuu.
Sunday newspapers reported that the recognition of the operator's website Malaysia Today, Raja Petra Kamarudin, who claimed never accused the Prime Minister or her involvement in the murder of Altantuya Shaariibuu. In an interview with TV3 in Perth, Australia, recently published in the Saturday night, Raja Petra said he was pressured and influenced by individuals who do not want Najib to take over as prime minister from Prime.
Raja Petra said the statutory declaration (SD) is made on June 18, 2008 is backed by information obtained from several individuals allegedly linked to several political figures, including opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, allegedly the wife of the Prime Minister, Datin Seri Rosmah in the scene when Altantuya was murdered.
Asked whether the disclosure is the desperate strategy or intentionally bringing the issue before tomorrow's Sarawak state election, Dr Mahathir said he did not know and can not read the hearts of people, however, he is confident that the Barisan Nasional (BN) to win the election with a majority of two third.
